I'm a Data Leader and Scientist based in New Orleans.

A little about Me.

I'm a seasoned Data Analytics and Data Science professional with leadership experience in the Healthcare Sector. I have also worked in public service and non-profits throughout my career.

I'm a self-proclaimed Data Nerd who loves to play with machine Learning and AI technologies. I have expertise in project management, data warehousing, Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Power Platforms, Excel, and Access. I am always open to discussing new opportunities.

I have studied and worked in the public and non-profit sectors all of my adult life. I have developed and managed public procurement programs, monitored public works and affordable housing projects, and interpreted federal regulations. I have written policy and recommended organizational changes to increase efficiency and decrease waste. I have worked for municipal governments, cooperative government programs, and quasi-governmental agencies.

I mostly work in Python, SQL, Jupyter, and related packages, but I have also used Excel and Access extensively. I wrote some Java in college, but that was many moons ago.

Kaggle: Deaths aboard the Titanic

My submission for the Kaggle competition using data from the Titanic Disaster. I visualized the data to look for patterns, and found the important factors. I then built a Random Forest model using cleaned and normalized data. Score: 78.2% Accurate Prediction.

Restaurants Density and Types in New Orleans Neighborhoods

Final Project for the IBM Data Science Certification. Original research and analysis, including building multiple data visualizations and offering interpretive analysis of a central question.

Exploring and Clustering Toronto Neighborhoods

As a part of the IBM Data Science Certification courses, I developed this notebook to explore the neighborhoods of Toronto, Ontario and group them based on the types of venues/businesses they contained.
